The Workplace Excellence Awards celebrate exceptional achievement and innovation in the application of psychological principles in the workplace, recognising best practice in organisational psychology.

The Awards are an initiative of the APS College of Organisational Psychologists, the professional body for psychologists with expertise in organisational psychology.

The Award Categories

In 2017, the College of Organisational Psychologists called for nominations in the following eight award categories.

Talent Management

The award for talent management is designed to recognise people strategies focused on attracting, recruiting, selecting, on-boarding, developing and /or retaining talent

Leadership Development and Coaching

The award for leadership development and coaching is designed to recognise strategies for developing leaders and coaching for improved performance and effectiveness

Performance and Capability Development

The award for performance and capability development is designed to recognise strategies focused on improving and developing the knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and performance of employees through processes, systems and learning programs

Organisational Change

The award for organisational change is designed to recognise strategies to effectively facilitate and successfully deliver organisational changes

Organisational Development

The award for organisational development is designed to recognise organisation-wide interventions that improve organisational performance, efficiency, effectiveness and/or positive outcomes relating to organisational progress

Human Factors and User Experience

The award for human factors and user experience is designed to recognise strategies that optimise human performance, safety and/or wellbeing through effective design of work systems and environments

Workplace Health, Safety and Wellbeing

The award for workplace health, safety and wellbeing is designed to recognise strategies that improve physical and psychological health outcomes for employees

Emerging Directions in Organisational Psychology

The award for emerging directions is designed to recognise emerging specialties in organisational psychology and new and innovative approaches to applying principles of psychology in the workplace

Entering the Workplace Excellence Awards

Entries for the 2017 Workplace Excellence Awards have now closed.

Finalists will be announced late in September. Winners will be announced at a gala dinner event to be held in Brisbane on Friday November 17th, 2017. About the APS College of Organisational Psychologists

The APS College of Organisational Psychologists (COP) is the professional association of psychologists who specialise in working with organisations, teams and individual employees to improve their motivation, effectiveness and productivity.

The College represents and promotes organisational psychology as a discipline. The College:
