Join us in Brisbane in November as we recognise the finalists and winners of the Workplace Excellence Awards 2017! Our events will take place during Psychology Week 2017 at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Psychology Week, a national initiative of the Australian Psychological Society, is about celebrating, promoting and raising awareness about Psychology. During Psychology Week, the College will share insights into psychology at work by showcasing the work of those engaged in best practice through the application of psychology.  

These events will be a great opportunity to learn more innovations in the application of psychology at work, to celebrate with colleagues, and to network with new contacts in the business, HR and organisational psychology communities.

Showcase Registration: Friday 17 November 2017 (8:30am - 5pm)

Award finalists will present on the initiatives for which they have been nominated. As presenters are confirmed, further information will be released about the program, which will include interactive sessions showcasing work in the categories to be awarded in 2017.

Registration includes: Morning/afternoon tea and lunch and attendance to all sessions that day. Dress code: business casual.

Workplace Excellence Awards Gala Dinner: Friday 17 November 2017 (6:30pm - midnight)

On the evening of the showcase, the APS College of Organisational Psychologists will host a gala dinner awards ceremony, announcing the WEA winners and celebrating the achievements of all finalists. Attendees will be able to enjoy their celebrations and lively conversations over a three course meal, with entertainment to follow.

Dress code: Business attire or cocktail.

Cancellations and refund policy

All cancellations must be provided in writing via email to the APS Events Team:  

Cancellations by Event Registrants: Up to 28 days prior to the event you are registered to attend will receive a full refund. Cancellations 27-15 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received 14 days or less prior to the event will not be refunded, other than for 'exceptional, unforeseeable circumstances', however, you may nominate someone to attend in your place. Registrations are not transferable between events.

Regrettably, Gala Award function tickets and additional tickets cannot be refunded if participants cancel, however you may nominate an alternative attendee.

The Event Organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any and all arrangements contained in the event program if minimum numbers are not reached.
